This bag is lovely and very sturdy. The 4 stars rather than 5 stems from my own ignorance, really. I always keep my reusable grocery bags in the car, so I was surprised to see the warning that these should not be kept in a hot car. It makes perfect sense, since the bag is WAXED. Perhaps a note on the item description would be helpful for others like me. If such a note was there, I missed it.

Once again, I received an expertly made market/grocery tote from Colleen. If you’re looking for a quality bag, that is thick and heavy duty, then look no further. I purchased a waxed canvas tote from another seller on Etsy for comparison , and while the tote is sufficient, it doesn’t come close to the craftsmanship of Colleen’s work. The totes easily fold flat when empty, and they will last for years.
